Chief Richard Pellin, Jr. has been involved in the fire service since 1995 when he joined the Ellsworth Fire Department. At that time he received his certification as a Volunteer Firefighter and has since gone on to become a Fire Inspector. Rick is also an Intermediate--Emergency Medical Technician and has been working in emergency medicine for over 15 years. After graduating from Western Reserve High School, Rick received his BA in Management, Accounting and Finance from Hiram College in 1996. He currently serves as Vice-President of Pellin Emergency Medical Service.
Rick moved to Lake Milton in 1996. He was appointed Fire Chief for the newly formed Milton
Township Fire Department in November of 1999. An active member of the community, Rick serves
on the Zoning Appeals Board and is a member of the Western Mahoning County Kiwanis Club. He
and his wife Juliet are also kept busy by their twin sons Aidan and Kieran.
