Friends and Neighbors, Like many of you, I have wonderful memories of growing up and raising my family here in Lake Milton. Swimming and enjoying family gatherings on hot summer days are just a few of my fondest memories. Just like my father before me, I have a passion to represent our community as a trustee, and a desire to use my management, communication and networking skills to improve our township.
I want our children to experience Lake Milton, as I did, with the freedom to grow in a safe friendly community. I am jumping in and examining our township's needs, and working as a team with the other trustees, fiscal officer as well as our zoning committees to develop our township, while keeping it affordable, and providing a lifestyle that reflects our beautiful Lake Milton. With your help and support, we can make our township one we can be proud to pass on to future generations.
My personal commitments as a trustee are:

Russell Weimer

Russ Weimer became Milton Township’s newest trustee on January 1, 2010. His father had encouraged him to run for trustee for a number of years and finally succeeded in getting Russ to commit. He had attended many of the trustee meetings for over a year and a half so he could get a better understanding of how the local government was run. Russ was also looking for a challenge and felt this was a good way to give back to his community. Milton Township has not only been his home for over 35 years, but also his business, Weimer Enterprises. He graduated from Jackson Milton Schools and has raised his three children in the area. Russ is looking forward to working with the other trustees and the community. If any township resident has concerns, they can contact Russ at 330-654-4840.

It is with great pride and appreciation that I have had the opportunity to service as Fiscal Officer to the residents and the community of Milton Township for the past 8 years.
It has been my goal to make Milton Township financially sound and to utilize our tax dollars wisely. I pledge to continue to work diligently with the County Auditors Office and at the State level to make sure that all tax dollars due our Township are received in full.
I will continue to work with all departments so that the maximum services are provided and at the same time all departments live within their budgets as we have for the last 6 years.
I am passionate about Milton Township because we have so much to be proud of and I encourage residents to participate in the growth of our community by attending meetings and getting involved. I am always available to answer questions at 330-654-2538.
My husband Ron and I have called Milton Township our home for the past 25 years and we would not want to live anywhere else.
