I have lived in Milton Township for over 23 years. My husband, Russell Balsinger and I have three children, Trent, Tara and Tanner all who have graduated from Jackson Milton School system. I grew up in Liberty Township and was looking for a small, close knit community to replicate the upbringing I had for my children. I found this and more in Milton Township.

I graduated from Liberty High School; attended Youngstown State University majoring in pre-pharmacy. I worked for over 20 years in different aspects within the medical field. I owned my own business for 10 years. I was actively involved in leadership positions in our school system’s many parent organizations. In addition, I was a Girl Scout Leader, 4-H advisor and committee member.

In 1999 I was appointed as Township Clerk and this was the beginning of my new interest in knowing more about our Township and how it works.

I truly love my community and I am dedicated to work hard to have Milton Township thrive and continue to be one of the many beautiful communities in Mahoning County.
